Wyoming bill of sale forms records the transfer of ownership of personal property in that can be registered with the state. A bill of sale should identify the buyer and seller, describe the item changing possession, and record the terms of the transaction (e.g. purchase price, warranties, etc.).
The buyer will be required to keep a copy of the bill of sale to register (along with a certificate of title).

Vehicle Registration Forms
- An Application for Certificate of Title and VIN/HIN Inspection (MV-300A)
- If a used car purchased within Wyoming, the previous title
- A Bill of Sale
- Valid driver’s license or state ID
- Proof of current auto insurance meeting the state’s minimum coverage requirements:
- $25,000 for an injured person in an accident
- $50,000 for all injuries in an accident
- $20,000 for property damage in an accident
- An Odometer Disclosure Statement
- If the vehicle was purchased from a dealership, a copy of the dealer’s invoice
- If the vehicle is being leased, rather than purchased, a copy of a signed lease
- If the buyer or seller is represented by an agent, a Motor Vehicle Power of Attorney
- Proof of payment of all taxes and fees. Fees will vary depending upon the county in which the vehicle is registered. The local county treasurer’s office will offer a fee calculator or schedule
Boat Registration Forms
- A completed Watercraft Registration Form
- A bill of sale
- A Hull Identification Number Inspection and Certificate of Title Form
- For boats launching between March 1 and November 30, proof of an aquatic invasive species inspection at an authorized location
- Proof of payment of sales tax on the boat in the buyer’s county of residence, and payment of the registration fees identified on the registration form
