A Tennessee Association of Realtors Residential Lease Agreement is a contract between a tenant and a landlord that will specify rental and security deposit amounts as well as rights, rules, regulations, responsibilities and other laws to be observed. The lease will grant a tenant the right to the exclusive use of the property in exchange for agreed rental payments to the landlord. Additionally, the lease outlines the rights and responsibilities of both the landlord and tenant during the lease term.
