South Dakota Power of Attorney Forms (9 Types)

Updated August 09, 2023

South Dakota power of attorney forms let a person legally choose someone else to make decisions and handle affairs on their behalf. Depending on the form, it is common for the representation to be for financial or medical items. If the form is durable or for medical purposes, the form will last the lifetime of the principal unless revoked. After signing, any of the forms can be used by the agent by either presenting the form or signing in the following format: “(Principal’s Name) by (Your Signature) as Agent under POA dated (Date).”
