South Carolina Watercraft/Vessel Registration Forms

  • If you’re registering a new vessel provide the  Manufacturer’s Certificate of Origin (MCO) or a current title signed over to you, should the vessel be used
  • A notarized bill of sale
  • Driver’s license or State ID
  • You must have a completed Watercraft/Outboard Motor Application (Form FM-015)
  • You must be certain that your taxes are paid and be prepared to pay all registration and/or titling fees

 Registration of a Vehicle in South Carolina

  • You will require a completed Application for Certificate of Title and Registration (Form 400)
  • A title that has been signed over to you (if applicable)
  • The name of the company in which you do business for auto insurance coverage inasmuch as the state of SC will verify with your insurance company that all information is up to date
  • Receipt of paid property tax
  • A bill of sale
  • Be certain that you’re prepared to pay all registration and titling fees
