Registering a Boat

Boat registrations in Nevada are valid for one year. They expire on December 31st annually, despite the original registration date. Registration renewal is available online with the Nevada Department of Wildlife (NDOW).

Required Documents

  • Bill of Sale;
  • Certificate of title or manufacturer’s statement of origin;
  • Proof that sales tax has been paid;
  • Registration fees; and
  • Social security number.
